I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer. My family and I towed our camper to Port Aransas, Texas and spent some time on the beach. We also made our annual Water World Trip along with some visits to our cabin.

Most of my summer was spent getting to know Woodlin and our district. I am so excited and honored to be your principal and superintendent. I am looking forward to a smooth and productive year. It is my goal for students to learn as much as possible before our next summer break creeps upon us. It is also my goal to learn as much about our school district, students, staff and community as soon as possible in order to be as effective as I can be.

Local and state test scores tell us that learning loss from the pandemic is beginning to decrease and gaps are being narrowed, but there is still work to be done. Attendance is more important than ever as we work together to continue to get our students back on track.

To help us accomplish this goal we have some familiar faces on our staff and some new faculty that will compliment our team well.
